RBI Grade B Officers Examination Structure:-
RBI Grade B Officers Selection will be through Examinations and Interview. RBI Grade B Officers Examinations will be held in two phases [RBI Grade B Officers Phase-I ON-LINE Examination (Objective Type) and RBI Grade B Officers Phase-II ON-LINE Examination ] as under:
(I) RBI Grade B Officers Phase-I ON-LINE Examination (Objective Type):
This RBI Grade B Officers Paper approximately of 120 minutes duration for 200 marks.

The RBI Grade B Officers Phase 1 Paper consists tests of
i) General Awareness
ii) English Language
iii) Quantitative Aptitude and
iv) Reasoning

All the RBI Grade B Officers Phase 1 questions will have multiple choices. Out of the five answers to a question only one will be the correct answer
There will be penalty for wrong answers marked by you. For every wrong answer marked by you, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty

Other detailed information regarding the examination will be given in an RBI Grade B Officers Information Handout, which will be made available for the candidates to download along with the Admission letter for examination from the RBI website.
Candidates have to secure minimum marks separately for each RBI Grade B Officers test as well as aggregate, as prescribed by the Board. Candidates, who secure minimum marks separately for each RBI Grade B Officers Test, as prescribed, will be shortlisted for Phase-II of the Examination based on the aggregate marks obtained in the RBI Grade B Officers Objective Test. The minimum aggregate cut off marks for being shortlisted for RBI Grade B Officers Phase-II of the Examination will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies. Roll No. of the candidates shortlisted in RBI Grade B Officers Phase-I of the On Line Examination (OE) will be published on RBI website.
(II) RBI Grade B Officers Phase-II Written Examination :
The Phase-II Written examination (WE) will be conducted in only for those candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of results of RBI Grade B Officers Phase-I. The RBI Grade B Officers Phase 2 Examination will consist of three papers –

For both RBI Grade B Officers Phase 2 Paper I and III, there will be 30 questions and 50 marks for Objective questions (some questions carrying 2 marks each and some carrying 1 mark each). In case of Descriptive questions, 6 questions will be asked, of which candidates will be required to attempt 4 questions (2 of 15 marks each (with difficulty level) and 2 of 10 marks each). In case, candidate answers more than 4 questions in descriptive, first 4 shall be evaluated.
NOTE: RBI Grade B Officers Phase-I (except the test of English) and Papers I and III of Phase-II will be set bilingually in Hindi and English.
RBI Grade B Officers Interview: Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on aggregate of marks obtained in Phase-II (Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III). The minimum aggregate cut off marks for being shortlisted for Interview will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies. Roll No. of the candidates shortlisted for interview will be published on RBI website at appropriate time and interview call letters will be sent on registered email ID. RBI Grade B Officers Interview will be of 75 marks. Candidate may opt for interview either in Hindi or English. RBI Grade B Officers Final Selection will be through merit list which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in RBI Grade B Officers Phase-II examination and interview.
